Well as I talk with young women about birth control and abortion,
it is certainly a mixed bag. Oddly enough, some young women that have never had a child and are in a religious group that opposes abortion for any reason say that they are on some form of birth control. Hmmm that is a choice? What they don't know is that due to a variety of physical and emotional conditions, birth control can decide to not cooperate.
A point they made to me is, " Why don't these people use birth control?" perfect question!
What would they do if their birth control failed? Oh! Well should they control everyone's decision?
Is there access? What are the impediments? What is the education about their body and it's systems? I am for better education. Access and understanding of the variety of things that can happen in pregnancy. We do not need a ban. We need to stop misinformation and let a woman have the choice over her body. Free vasectomies wouldn't hurt either (: *
